Great but!!!
I love these scissors but I hate using them! I use them to cut up garlic, green onions, and herbs. However, every time I do use them I end up cutting my finger tips because I try to put small pieces on and hold them with my finger while I squeeze with the other hand! Not smart! I know!So, just be aware, the blades are very sharp.I just bought a different gadget to cut up garlic with so maybe I won’t have as much problem if I just cut up the green onions and herbs.This does make it faster to chop up green onions and herbs. I even have a mini one of these and they both work equally well.

These are so cool and I didn’t know they existed.
I am so pleased with these. The boyfriend bought me these because I had never heard of them, and we use a LOT of herbs on a day to day basis–we’ll throw five bucks worth of basil on a 99 cent pizza and suddenly our sad little totino’s is OOOH FANCY LOOK AT MR FANCY EATING HIS PIZZA. Seriousy, with the huge amounts of basil, oregano, green onions, cilantro, and pretty much every other herb you can think of that I grow, I spend several minutes with the regular scissors chopping things up before every meal, and these are so cool in that it’s just a couple of snips and you’re done. Keep the little funny plastic cleaner, though–it looks cheap and stupid, but IT IS NOT. It is useful for getting the herbs OUT of the scissors after, especially if you’re lazy like me and load too many into them. –Tim’s girlfriend (He doesn’t really grow and prepare a lot herbs, not that there’s anything wrong with a dude doing that.)

Great kitchen scissors despite horrendous packaging
The scissors are serviceable and appropriate quality for the price. For recipes that require a considerable amount of chopping of ingredients like cilantro, parsley, scallions and the like, this device is a real time saver. Interesting to note is the directions on the back of the package that arrived seems questionable (see attached image). “It’s no proper to cut the hard object” seems like like a reasonable warning, but the “with the sour salt material should wash and dry immediayelt” really forced my hand to post this on Facebook. after we had our fun with the directions, the new game became “guess what the icons on the bottom really mean?” I won’t ruin that fun for you.At least they work.

Dull, extremely dull
Herbs are being crushed not cut. This is basically a paper weight, in fact these can’t even cut tissue paper!

Effective, but not pretty
These aren’t sharpened to a very fine Edge, so it does the job but the result is not all that pretty. You end up with crushed edges. But if that’s not an issue and you’re in a hurry, this makes quick work of something that could take quite a while.

I had been wanting some herb scissors and most of the “good ones” were a little pricey for me and then I saw these ones and I am glad I did! They are inexpensive and work great and the little tool is very handing for swiping through the blades between every few snips.

Bought this months ago and forgot about it. Used it recently – pretty handy. Used for cilantro — cuts it us very easily. great in salads.

Blades not sharp enough
Does not cut through parsley, the blades are too dull, consequently the leaves just fold up instead of cutting. I had to pull the parsley out from between the blades and use the end to snip each piece multiple times. Quicker to just use a knife.
