Description

I’m Elaine, an Early Years teacher, and I’ve created a range of award winning walking resources for children.
As a teacher, I know budgets are limited & I take pride in making sure my products give great value for money, are strongly made & help supervisors deliver better learning by creating more organised, safer walks.
Grab & Go is a great resource to manage walks with children more effectively.
PLUS it also doubles up as an emergency evacuation resource!
Available in a 4, 6, 10 or 12 child option, one or more Grab & Go’s can be linked to each other.
For Walks – Grab & Go is a teacher approved, strongly made walking resource. Supervisors simply ask the children to hold onto the brightly colored handles or, for enhanced safety, each child can be linked to the product via a hook & loop fastening on each handle.
Handles are well spaced out, ensuring enough room for each child. An adult handle is located at the front.
For Evacuation Drills – in an emergency situation it’s essential that children & adults are able to stay together & move quickly to a safe area. The spacing of the handles allows children to “get low and go” (crawl) whilst maintaining physical contact with each other & with the responsible adult.
Through evacuation practice & other learning activities, children learn to stay together & follow the adult to safety.
The brightly colored loops also promote color recognition.
Grab & Go complies with relevant UK safety testing requirements.
I hope you enjoy using Grab & Go as much as my class & I do.
Elaine.

Safe and Fun Group Adventures with the Kids Walking Rope!
This brightly colored rope is a fantastic way to keep little ones together and safe during outings. Its durable construction and easy-to-grip handles make it a must-have for teachers, daycare providers, and parents looking to add a touch of security to their group outings.

    Perfect for Emergeny Preparedness Safety
I actually purchased the Grab & Go for 6 children. I am a licensed family child care provider and can only care for up to 6 children at one time, so this product was PERFECT for my safety needs. The one thing I like most is the velcro wrist bands as compared to the hold-on ring styles. Not to say that the ring style isn’t good, but I feel the velcro wrist bands are more secure with keeping the children together because they can let go of the rings. Because I care for a multi-age group, the velcro bands allows for even the smallest children to be more secure in the event of an actual emergency evacuation away from my home. The children like it because they think they have on “special bracelets.” The product is very well-made, durable and colorful. It’s a great addition to my emergency preparedness kit.

    Love it!
I got this walking rope for my Kinder Autism classroom and I LOVE it!! It was exactly what I was looking for. It isn’t too baby-ish and what really sold me was that the “bracelets” (that’s what we call the straps to put your hand in my room) have velcro. The velcro keeps some of my students from letting go or wandering. Definitely would recommend!

    Good sturdy product
I have four children ages 5 and under so I needed an extra set of hands especially while going in and out of stores when we are in busy parking lots… I only use this when I have no other adult with me but so far so good… my children still have a hard time grasping the “line” concept so they try to walk beside each other and hold the rope in front 🙄 I really like the Velcro aspect that secures them a little more instead of they just holding on to a loop… I only had one time where my two year old fell and it was a disaster trying to un tangle everyone with onlookers watching our calamity! But two is younger than most will be using this for… I call it my toddler chain gang…

    Great for older students
After looking at several line helpers I decided on this one. I use it in my middle school special needs class. I have 7 students and it fits them all with room for more. The students actually Velcro their wrists which is great, but I didn’t intend to use the Velcro wrist loops. I honestly thought the students would just hold onto the loops. The students love it, which surprised me, they each take turns being the line leader. It is wonderful for keeping everyone together in crowded halls. Great for older special needs students.ProsWalking rope is long and sturdy. Kids can and will pull on it and it doesn’t break. The wrist straps fit toddler to adult hands and are adjustable to fit classroom needs.

    Great product!
Awesome product. I thought it was going to chafe little wrists, but my students were fine with it. It is sturdy, but did not hurt and would break away before a child falling down in the case of another student pulling on it. It twisted a little because I only had 6 students on it and it’s made for 10 alternating on each side. This was perfect for my special education class field trip and I plan on many more uses. (I do recommend practicing before breaking it out for a field trip because the twist of it can be difficult for little ones to get used to as they walk.)

Made well but check age suggestions
I have two year old triplets and they can slide the rope out of their hand. Perhaps it’s for a different age group than 2 and they listen better as they grow older. Please take that into consideration when gauging the helpfulness of my review. The product is made very well and appears to be durable as they were playing tug of war with itUpdate at 3yrs: they absolutely will not put their wrists in the holes BUT if you attach a small keychain stuffed animal to the loop they will hold onto the animal to keep him safe. Also, it prevents fighting as I just do a rotation of each animal. I have also done a surprise animal picture from a bag to make it more fun!

J’ai acheté deux cordes de 12 enfants en cadeau pour l’école de mon fils. Les enseignantes en sont ravies et voient que les cordes vont faciliter les sorties avec les tous petits. A recommander!

I run a day home and was needing to replace my walking rope as it was falling apart. I was shocked to feel the great quality.I have used it with just my 6 kids and also another 6 kids (12 total) when meeting up with another dayhome.I really like that you can velcro the childrens wrists in to make it more secure especially when they are wearing gloves.
