Definite must buy kitchen gadget
I ordered this after seeing a random video on social media for a similar product. My husband used it and loved it! He cooks with a lot of garlic so I figured let’s give it a try. The peeler worked on every clove with nothing left to pick off. He loved the press! He said it was better and less mess than chopping the cloves with a knife! Thank you random video for making me find this on Amazon!

Garlic Greatness
I sure was impressed with this press. As someone who normally takes a long time to husk my garlic, this sure made it easy with that garlic peeler. The best part about this product in my opinion is that your fingers donât smell like garlic. I would strongly recommend this product, regardless of your culinary ability. Whether you slay like Flay or just learning how to cook today, this is the one for you.

Useful, but there are caveats to consider
TL;DR This is a handy device as long as you use it a certain way to reduce cleanup, are willing to prep your garlic more than product suggests for consistent results, keep all these separate parts together in your kitchen, and need to process at least a few cloves but much less than what youâd use a food processor for.First off, it works much better than the garlic presses (that extrudes into paste-like minced pieces) that Iâve owned. I can go through garlic without having to re-feed it like I had to with my previous presses.==If you like that chunky paste-like consistency, this wonât be the device for you as the holes are large enough to make ânear fineâ chopped pieces. Now this device isnât perfect. I havenât nailed a pattern yet but Iâve had difficulty for some garlic cloves to be âchoppedâ with the rocker. Whether itâs due to a clove size, shape, age, outer skin toughness/moisture level, âsmoothnessâ or a combination of those, it just mushes it and spreads out under the rocker instead of pushed through the holes.==To have better overall results, before using the rocker, slice the clove in half lengthwise. Using the rocker on the sliced side seems to give the holes a better grip as it gets pressed through. It isnât what the video shows, but either they enhanced the âgripâ of those cloves (maybe by making skin deep cuts) or they had âperfect clovesâ for the device demo. Whatever the case, not all cloves will work perfectly with this device and may need one extra step if thatâs the case. My first point still stands even with the extra slice step. Now for my major gripes:==Cleaning it still is a pain even with the brush. More often than not, I have to use the back end to pop the pieces out of the holes. Even with the sink spray nozzle, I usually canât force all the pieces out. (Watery mess all over the sink though) To minimize clean up, I have to be accurate and go through all the garlic I need with as little of the rocker as possible. Basically, whatever time this rocker saves from manually chopping a few cloves easily goes into cleaning it. * A previous garlic press I owned had a grid of cylinders to push garlic out of the holes and cleans itself quite efficiently. Wish this rocker had something like that. With this in mind, there is a tipping point where using a food processor is more efficient and cleans easier.==This device pretty much requires all the other parts to function and be maintained efficiently but doesnât have a way to keep them together. Sure the garlic âbladeâ can be substituted with the back of your knife but that brush/pick is needed to clean it. So if you lose it, youâll have to keep toothpicks and maybe a toothbrush handy.Be sure to consider your general needs and whether the benefits outweigh the detriments before buying.

Iâm older and not the strength to squeeze a garlic press, but this on a cutting board is wonderful. Wonderful tool to have in everyoneâs kitchen.

Too much rubbing to get the garlic off the skin
I still have to work a little bit hard to get the skin off the garlic

Super Clean and Straightforward!
This makes fresh minced garlic worth it! I mean, honestly. Much of the other garlic mincers out there are âcoolâ but unnecessarily complicated to clean. This product, is thankfully not only efficient in doing its job, it is easy to clean and take care of without the extra hassle around it.

Not impressed
I gave it several tries. Some garlic smushes thru the holes, but most is left under the device. I tried the rocking motion suggested, but once the holes are full, nothing more happens. I cook with a lot of garlic and get far better results with my trusty chef’s knife so I think I’m going to return this one. It needs to be sharper so that it really works. The garlic peeler (green sleeve ) is super flimsy. I have much better ones on hand.

Iâve used my fair share of garlic presses, but the Vantic Stainless Steel Garlic Press Rocker is a complete game changer! If you love cooking with fresh garlic (and who doesnât?), this tool is an absolute must-have in your kitchen.Innovative Design:The rocker design is brilliant. Instead of the usual press-down motion, all you need to do is rock it back and forth over the garlic, and it crushes effortlessly. The motion feels natural and requires minimal effort, even for multiple cloves at once. Itâs so much easier on the wrists, especially when you’re prepping for big meals.Premium Stainless Steel Construction:The quality of the stainless steel is top-notch â itâs sturdy, doesnât bend, and feels like itâll last for years. I appreciate how it resists rusting and wonât absorb odors or stain, unlike some garlic presses Iâve used in the past. Plus, it has a sleek, modern look that fits perfectly with my kitchen gadgets.Easy to Use and Clean:What really sets this apart is how easy it is to clean. The garlic doesnât get stuck inside, and the design makes it simple to rinse under water or pop it in the dishwasher. No complicated nooks or crannies to worry about â just quick, hassle-free cleaning. Itâs a small thing, but it makes a huge difference.Great for More Than Just Garlic:Iâve also used it to crush ginger and small amounts of herbs, and it works wonderfully for those too. Itâs so versatile, which makes it a great all-around kitchen tool.Final Thoughts:The Vantic Stainless Steel Garlic Press Rocker has truly made garlic prep a breeze. Whether youâre cooking a quick weeknight dinner or preparing a fancy feast, itâs the easiest, most efficient way to get perfectly crushed garlic every time. Itâs durable, easy to clean, and actually fun to use. If you love garlic as much as I do, donât wait to grab one â itâs a total kitchen essential! ð§

I have been using hand held garlic presses but getting a good quality one that doesn’t break can be hard. This is easier to use and easier to clean. Also, the little silicon tube to peel garlic with was not something I knew I needed until now but wow does it make peeling garlic so much faster.

While I thought it seemed like a great idea to put your back into garlic pressing, I didn’t prefer this press. I have used quite a few handheld presses, and some are bad, but some are great. This device will be better than the bad ones but not as good as the good ones. One thing to note is if you have an elbow injury, this device will not be great. I have exacerbated my elbow injury while using this. Also if you’re short, you may need to stand on a stool or do it on a table instead of counter in order to get the right angle to apply minimal force. You need to be perpendicular to get the best angle to press it otherwise it’ll just squish. To get this angle I need to stand on a stool, and to prevent injuring my elbow further I need to fully straighten my arms and use my back. It’s too much effort given my short height and elbow injury, I’m going back to my handheld press. The green rubber sleeve is interesting and useful for removing the skins. The small spatula is a bit odd but useful. The black bristle brush is very bizarre and doesn’t seem like the right tool (it looks like it’s more appropriate for dry use).Pretty decent value if you don’t have an elbow or back injury but I’ve stopped using mine.

This is above and beyond better than any of my other garlic presses, and I’ve tried a few.You roll the clove in the rubber peeler for a few seconds and the skin just falls off. Then you roll over the peeled clove with the press a few times and there you go!Awesome useful tool for the kitchen!!!
