Great for fine motor skills
After having a stroke, my brother used this item to strengthen his left hand. It was successful! I liked it because it seemed more interesting to adults than some of the other fine motor skills items.

Great tool
I’ve had a stroke and I am doing home occupational. My therapist has one so bought it to practice hand eye coordination it’s harder then it looks but I’m getting better at using it

Perfect for My 3 Year Old Daughter
This had such a timely arrival! The same day this arrived, my daughter had JUST happened to watch an episode of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (“Daniel Finds Something To Do”; season 4, episode 1) where Daniel Tiger’s mom was using tools to fix a broken part of a stage. I think it was a great inspirational episode right before an activity like this.My daughter did this activity by putting the screws in, first, and needed some guidance (as would be expected) to discover which tools to use for which screw. The next morning, she decided to take them all out and she did it entirely by herself! (…with the one exception being that I needed to reverse the screwdriver head to the Philip’s-head side when she got to that screw.) This was a perfect activity for her, it kept her very engaged, provided just the right amount of challenge, developed her motor skills, and gave her a sense of accomplishment.Pros: Develops skills in concentration, reasoning, fine motor skills, and confidence-building. Perfect size for an activity like this, utilizes a lot of different tool types, the tools work well for young children, and is good quality, overall. I really love this toy!Cons: the lid doesn’t fit *perfectly* and requires a tiny nudge back to allow the latch to go through the hole. (My daughter is easily capable of doing this on her own, so it isn’t an issue.)Would I recommend this toy: Yes, absolutely!

GREAT for busy little fingers
Our 3 year old grandson has recently developed a love for nuts, bolts and screws! I was thrilled to discover this for his birthday, and he carried it around all day! I love that all the pieces easily store inside the box, and the latch stays securely closed. I was also pleasantly surprised that the screws and tools were made of real metal rather than plastic, so this should last forever. Each screw head is different, and he loves figuring out which tool is right for the job. The carrying strap was genius, and he absolutely loves this thing! I did not find any metal shavings or splinters, so it is well made.
