The Magnetic Feature Has Unexpected Benefit
When I bought these, I was hesitant to buy metal measuring spoons. I thought I wanted plastic ones, but I definitely wanted the ability to scrape off the hump of content in the spoon because my bread machine recipes specify doing that to ensure precise measurements required to make good bread. All the plastic measuring spoons seem to have crude, sloppy lips that would make scraping across them imprecise. So, I selected these metal spoons which even came with a scraper, and I thought the magnetic feature would be useful in keeping them all together in a drawer. However, the BEST use I found for the magnetic feature is: I separated all the spoons and stuck them to my refrigerator. Perfect!!! Now I don’t need to dig them out of a drawer when I need to use them. They are perfectly organized in an easily accessible and normally unused space.

Incredibly handy
Wow, these are so handy! They’re always together in my drawer due to the magnets. They nest well so take up little space. Love the two sides for each measurement, a skinnier versus a rounder side, which means i have two for each measurement – so handy when something is messy – i have another side ready to go.

This review is for the “Set of 7,” on which the measurement markings are engraved and do not wash off. The other “Set of 8” options on this listing are not engraved, the measurement markings appear to be printed on the magnetic portion, and the markings apparently wash off easily.I like that these are a good longer size and that they have both a rounded side and a rectangular side to more easily fit into most spice jars. I like that these are engraved with the measurements rather than printed, and that the font is not a tiny size. I like that these are magnetized; it makes for convenient and space-saving storage. These are not flimsy, the metal does not bend or warp thus far, though I haven’t used them for anything heavy or dense. The plastic magnetized sections are randomized colors, and the magnets help with keeping these organized and space-saving for storage. Thus far these spoons have not rusted, but I have only hand-washed them. They do not seem inclined to do so, however, which is a credit to the company for not using inferior metal materials. I bought two different sets at the same time to replace broken plastic sets, and thus far I have liked both. This particular set is slightly larger and has a rectangular side and a round side of each measurement, so it’s nice to not have to wash as often in between uses for different ingredients when cooking. However, these do take up a little more space, so some may find fault with them for that reason. For my needs I like having both the smaller set I purchased and this set to save on the washing in between ingredients. I’ve had these for a few months now and thus far I have only seen small water spots on these if you don’t dry them quickly and that’s about the worst thing I could say. A great buy overall and would make a nice gift for a housewarming or cooking enthusiast.

Strong magnets and easy to use, but as some other commenters have mentioned, the labeling on the plastic handle has started to wear off after a few weeks of use despite only handwashing these.

I love these measuring spoons! The magnetic feature is strong enough to hold them all together without being difficult to separate. They feel like a sturdy good quality, and theyâve withstood washing without removing the labeling. They weight is nice to hold and I love the color coding for them.

I love these spoons. It’s so nice not having to deal with a ring to keep them together. They’re always where I expect them to be, with none missing. The rectangular end is so helpful for little jars. They’re just really nice. Also the selection of sizes is perfect, no weird ones, nothing missing.They are almost as long as typical spoons and forks so they don’t fit in the normal measuring spoon compartment in my drawer. It’s okay but they are pretty long. That does keep the ends further apart though to isolate the dirty/wet parts. Also when you’re cooking you can connect the ones you’re using in an asterisk shape â³ï¸ so they’re still organized but the ends don’t touch.I really hesitate to use them for anything if I’m not cooking a full meal, because I don’t want one to be one missing later when I need it. I think it’s a good idea to have two sets, a set in one color for big-deal cooking and another set in another color that you can pull from through the day if you measure sugar into hot cocoa, or measure cough syrup, or things like that.Also pay attention when you pick your brand! These have a rectangular end and a circular end. Many other brands have a circular end with an oval-shaped end. I think the rectangular type is better, it’s less pointy for small jars, it can scrape the bottom basically. I didn’t notice they were different so I’m glad I got this brand.Oh and it’s not specific to this brand but… if you wash these in the silverware basket, they stick to everything lol. It’s okay but it is a liiiiittle irritating. You have to turn them all the correct way when possible and stick the back side to the other utensils, to be sure the spoon parts aren’t blocked and can get clean.Anyway great buy, I’m probably going to get these as gifts for people later. We all have ADHD lol

Magnets are strong and looks like they will last long.The only reason i bought them is that the measurements are not printed on magnet which they will wear off over the time, instead they are engraved on the steel.Plus the model is well thought for both oils and spices and have long handle.Overall this is a great product. Love it. â¤ï¸
