No instructions, but simple and no issues!
Thankfully this went way better than I expected. I rolled it out of the package and it smelled terrible for a few hours, so definitely plan to air it out a bit before your first use if you can. Even my dog was walking over to it sniffing a bunch and then sneezing. There were also no instructions in the package, so I was hoping it would be straightforward (it was). Plus two little patches to cover any holes in the vinyl which I will hopefully not need.I rolled it out and tried to connect the hose to the plug opening and was baffled and why it wouldn’t connect. Uh, turns out you have to unscrew the yellow piece from the main part of the connector. I think maybe this second piece is if you have something that can connect to it to regulate the flow so water goes in but not out. I just used a normal hose end so unscrewed the second piece and it went into the main connection with no problem. It was super easy to screw in and had no leaks around the seal when I got the water going.It takes a few minutes to fill the pad and the edges initially depending on your water pressure. Mine was probably about two to three minutes before it really got going. The holes on the edges all spewed out water pretty quickly, but they tended to go in wonky directions. They don’t all just arc nicely inward, or out, or up. They seem to just go whatever direction that hole wants. This wasn’t really an issue, but it was unexpected. It did mean I could stand in the center of the mat without getting totally soaked by them if I positioned myself carefully, which was a nice option to have.I also was able to make the spray from the edge holes lower by just turning the water pressure down. At full pressure they went about four feet up, and at low pressure I got it down to about six inches, so there’s plenty of range.My dog did paw at the mat when it was filling as she was curious, but I just told her not to and she stopped without seeming to have caused any issues. If your dog goes mad on it there might be a problem, but a little bit of it didn’t seem to cause any issues. It’s a pretty large mat so my dog and I were both able to stand on it, and she definitely could have laid down on it if she wanted with room to spare (70lb golden retriever).Putting it away was easy enough too. Turn the water off, disconnect the hose, and let the main connector do the bulk of the work. I had to hold it up on a side for a minute or two to get all the water out but it went at a pretty quick pace. It folded back up small (about an 8×4 inch rectangle) and into the closet for next time! Overall this went WAY better than I honestly expected and I’m excited to have it for hot weather days.

Busted tube within seconds of play
Items says for ages 3+ and was purchased for my 3 year old. The bottom seam of the tube surrounding the splash pad busted as soon as we turned the water on. I literally think my son got a whole 30 seconds of play. Don’t waste your money or time on this faulty product.

Super easy to set up and great quality
So easy to set up and the size is perfect for my toddler. Can work great for maybe 5 toddlers at a time. The hose connection was easy and I was able to get the right pressure for the water. It’s really fun to see the water spray up. Really good quality so I think it will last for even next hot spring and summer

Great for backyard play
Easy to attach hose, once water was running only took a few minutes to fill up and start working. We have a small backyard but it was perfect size for my toddler. Big enough for probably two or three kids to sit in it and play. We’ve used it a hand full of times and it seems to hold well. Great for the summer
