Bought 3!
I originally bought a copy of this cookbook for two of our grandsons. A bonus grandson came to the house and while he was there, he started looking through one of them and found two recipes he wanted to try. Ordered the third one that night and he was thrilled to have it delivered to his house two days later. These are twenty-something guys that wanting to learn more about cooking.

Book lives up to product description
This cookbook is awesome. Easy recipes with simple ingredients that are easy to find in any grocery store. Nothing ridiculously obscure. Has breakfasts, snacks, main courses, desserts. Nothing you’ll find at a five star restaurant, but that doesn’t seem to be the point of this book. Perfect for men (or women!) who just want something easy to make that tastes decent and will fill you up.

Technically one pan
This is a great cookbook for American classics and comfort foods (chicken pot pie, beef stroganoff, etc). The food tastes great. Recipes are easy to follow. But the efforts to make it only one pan are rather ridiculous. They have you cooking things consecutively rather than simultaneously, and pouring the first part into a bowl so you can reuse the “single pan”. It also doesn’t take that into account for the cooking time, so if you are truly using one pan then it will take twice as long as it says. We would much rather just cook things in two different pans than dirty so many extra bowls. And while the recipes only use one pan, they are fine with using 3 different mixing bowls, which means just as many dishes as traditional recipe books. Plus, the beef stroganoff recipe says it should be served with noodles, but doesn’t actually put them in the ingredients because they will definitely require another pan. It’s a fun idea and they’re all good recipes, but it feels like it falls short of what it promised. Still enjoying the food though!

It was a present for my ‘single’ son who is only just learning how to cook for himself. He loves it

When I was ordering the book for my husband, I was looking at the pictures, provided by seller. 8 pics, 6 of them – beautiful photos of food. I was expecting typical cookbook – picture+recipy. But actually all the book consists of texts. boring-looking texts, – like its some kind of notes of culinary school student. And the illustrations on the sellers link are almost the only pics which can be found in the book. Why we buy such books? For info, yes, but info can be found in google. Mostly we need to be inspired for cooking, not calling delivery. Good illustrations are the source of this inspiration. So – this book does not inspire at all. Waisted money! Good that I also bought another cookbooks and can leave this inside the shelf. Waisted money and misleading product offer.
