    I love the idea of these cards. I’m not a mum myself but I know a lot of mums, whether family or friends, so I definitely would buy this as a gift.Being a mum can be very trying and I know a lot of mums who don’t take time for theselves or who feel like they lose who they were before becoming a mum.These travel friendly cards help to remind mums to have a daily check in by doing something quick yet beneficial to ensure they take care of themselves.The idea is to shuffle the card deck which includes the below topics and select a random card each day:Gratitude – Encouraging moments to reflect on things you are grateful forAffirmation – Reminders of self-belief to encourage and build confidenceSelf Care – Ideas that encourage relaxation and time for herselfJournal – Prompts to help mums be more introspective to their new realityRitual – Ideas to encourage habits for connection to baby, family and friendsThese are great for travelling, as previously mentioned, so mum can keep them with her; especially if they are out for the day and need a little reminder how awesome they are doing.My only note is that for the price I think a small notebook should be included. The instructions advise to write answers in a notebook or journal and some of the cards give you writing exercises, so for the price an included notebook would make the set complete and would still retain the portability of the product. While a notebook is not necessarily, it would be a nice touch.

The tips on the cards themselves or nothing groundbreaking, for example, they suggest things such as taking half an hour for yourself to do things such as exercise or a facemask. However, they are a good reminder of basic self-care techniques for new mums. The packaging is nice so they would make a lovely gift. Overall I would recommend as a unique gift for a new mum.
