I think I got the wrong book
After reading the reviews I feel like I was sent the wrong book. the title says “The Ultimate Guide to Making Amazing DIY Mason Jar Gifts For $10 or Less!” Well the book consist of 17 pieces of paper, 2 for the cover and 1 blank page in the back. first 2 pieces of paper (4 sides) inside the cover if they were numbered pages 1,2,3,4, consist of 1, repeat of title. 2, copy rights and disclaimer. 3, table of contents. 4, introduction. That leaves us with 12 pieces of paper left to ” The Ultimate Guide to Making Amazing DIY Mason Jar Gifts For Under $10 or Less” There are no pics no illustrations, one of the reviewer talks about easy to follow recipes (as in plural) and instructions. that’s the book I thought I was getting. Many of the ideas send you to the store to buy it. Ch. 2 consist of 30 ideas with a total of 3 to 7 lines dedicated to each idea. 6 more pieces of paper used 6 more to go. Yes you can do all of them for under $10 or less, but if your looking for The Ultimate Guide don’t let the title of this book deceive you. Very disappointed.

Glad to find this book the day before the Valentine’s …
I have been looking for some personalized gifts ideas this Valentine’s Day when I found this book. I was so intrigue when I saw the cover so I buy this book.I found Mason Jars cheap yet creative way of giving gifts.The author’s style of writing is very unique that it entertains it’s readers as well as educate them. Glad to find this book the day before the Valentine’s Day.

Don’t be Duped like me!
Extremely disappointed with this book. I expected actual recipes to fill mason jars with, not just ideas like “filling a jar with your loved ones favorite candy”! A five year old could think that one up! I especially love the #6 idea, A sewing kit. Really? You are going to give sewing items to someone to “sow” (that’s how it is misspelled in the book!) I would like to add that the second page does state “the book is for entertainment purposes only.” I am just so dumbfounded I can’t really express how disappointed I am. Clearly I should have read the reviews first!!! Buyer beware.

Should have read the reviews first! Most of the “ideas” suggest purchasing prefabricated items made from Mason jars or the “put anything your recipient likes in it. An absolute wast of money. It’s not even a ” book” , but more of a pamphlet.

The author ends her book with a request for reviews so she can’t complain if she doesn’t like this one…24 pages of utter ramble – for £1.99! A phone call to my ageing gran would be cheaper & less repetitive! To show how repetitive this ‘book’ is, the 24th page consists of a summary of the previous chapters – something she does only 22 pages earlier in the introduction!Despite such thoroughness, Ms Dorsey misses some of the best ideas for Mason (or Kilner, as we in the UK call them) jar gifts. Here’s mine – and I’m not charging you a penny for it! String a pretty piece of ribbon with shiny mini baubles, add a mini string of battery-operated fairy lights, & chuck in some min-travel pots of hand cream, lip balm etc,. It looks gorgeous & the lights give a lovely suprise twinkle when it’s unwrapped! Now, I’ve saved you £1.99 & half an hour of your life that you won’t get back!
