Doesn’t seem like it should work but it does.
Not sure why some people give this blanket a bad review. The first night we used this we had to turn down the A/C and it had been 95 degrees out that day. We are using it with the patterned/cooling side up and the jersey/t-shirt fabric down toward us. We are also using a top sheet between us & the blanket. We have both woken up cold every night since we started using it. I even had to put a small throw blanket on. My boyfriend always sleeps hot and had to ask for another blanket. The blanket is very soft & smooth and surprisingly heavy. We also have an overhead socket fan other people might not have so maybe that adds to the cooling factor. Not sure if it’s exactly king size since we have a queen but I got tired of fighting over the covers so I sized up. It touches the floor on both sides of our bed so it’s definitely larger than a queen. I’m glad I bought this.

Cooling blanket
The first night i thought “NO WAY” is this gonna keep me cool. Well to my surprise I woke up freeze in the middle of the night so I throw another blanket on with it. I stayed cool and warm at the sametime. The only thing I don’t like is I wish the print was on both sides, the print size is more soft and silkty. I gave it 5 stars cause it does what it says, keeps you cool.

Something to keep in mindâ¦
Blankets of this type are two sided and only connected around the edges so the blanket will never truly lie flat. Only one side of the blanket actually has a âcooling materialâ and on this blanket, that is the printed side. So that means if you truly want the cooling effect from the blanket, you have to use it with the printed side down. The plain side will be the side facing up on your bed and you wonât really see the pattern. This was disappointing to me as I really like the patterned side, but the size is great, the price is right and it does its job so I will be keeping it. Itâs just a mild disappointment. Itâs also said that the pattern is glow in the dark, but we will never know because the patterned is the side that actually does the work.

Everyone kept stealing it so got them all their own
This blanket is so loved by all in my house that everyone in my immediate family tried to steal it all the time so had to buy everyone their own. Then took a trip with it and at times found myself a little too cold, which was perfect! Also had my husband’s sister ask for one for her son who also wanted to steal it ð

Need in the desert
I bought this for my boyfriend due to the summer heat. We live in the desert and its been so hot so this blanket has been a lifesaver. If it start to heat up even a bit, he’ll remove it for only a few minutes and it’ll be cold to the touch again. I bought two so he could alternate between them and he’s been sleeping much better.

Colors not accurate, nylon side should be the bottom but itâs not.
Edited: After having this blanket a week: I have since put the soft nylon side with the stars and moons face down since itâs the soft side and cooling. NOW itâs cool and I sleep well. Defeats the whole purpose of the moon and stars since now itâs face down and you donât see it. The jersey bottom of the blanket is too warm for me.Original review: Feels nice, soft for sure. Tried it without a comforter and was ok even with the fan on me. Itâs a little weighted but not heavy. Color is NOT accurate. Supposed to be dark grey and this is a lighter grayish-color with a hint or purplish or red in the color like it had been bleached a little. Itâs 2 separate sheets that are sown together. Jersey like on the bottom and nylon for the top. I washed it straight away before using it last night and it twisted up bad. So note to those who wash frequently is donât wash it with other bedding or clothes.
