Best Silicone Freezer Tray I’ve tried
I’ve tried a few Silicone Freezer Trays and this is the best one. So far I’ve used them for freezing broth and raw eggs. I haven’t used them for tomato sauce, so I can’t speak to their stain resistance. They hold their shape well when filled which makes the frozen block of food come out easily. Some other Silicone Freezer Trays I’ve used bulge out a little when filled which makes it a lot more difficult to get the food out once it’s frozen. The stiff framing is very helpful. Older Silicone Freezer Trays didn’t have that frame, making them floppy when filled. With the older ones I learned quickly to put them on a metal rack before filling so I could move them, rack and all, into the freezer without spilling. No need for that with these Silicone Freezer Trays.One thing to know – they come coated with a waxy substance, presumably food grade. I got that off by freezing water in the trays over and over until no more wax was coming off.I would definitely recommend these.

Great Item For Freezing
These are really great for freezing food. But it is somewhat difficult to remove the frozen items. I’ve found that when I place the tray into the microwave for about 30 seconds, it was much easier to remove the food items.

I was originally looking at the name brand freezer cubes but they were so costly. These are at a great price point and work wonderfully. They freeze soup or sauce or whatever in great portion sizes. The container is sturdy when filling and easy to transport to freezer with the stiff top and easy to use lid. They are also very easy to pop out your frozen cubes. I would highly recommend, these have really helped to cut back on food waste and to prep for future meals
