A wintertime staple in our house
I’m so impressed with Amazon Essentials kids puffer jackets. They’re a perfect layer for our mild winters and can be paired with a fleece for more warmth if needed. They’re durable and wash well. So far the zippers haven’t gotten stuck and I appreciate that it comes with a little nylon pouch for packing. The green is a rich emerald shade and the sticking appears to be good quality.

Good midweight winter jacket for tween boy that isnât too puffy
Great midweight jacket for tween boy. My 12 year old wears through clothes quickly, so we needed an everyday winter jacket that wasnât too puffy, and not too pricey. This jacket was the perfect fit and color. The sleeves were a tad short on him but nice fit overall.

Great alternative to bulky winter coats
I really like this jacket. We live in Wisconsin where it gets really cold out and I refuse to keep a bulky coat on my toddler when going somewhere in the car because of car seat safety. So, beginning of winter, I’d get him into the car, bulky coat off, buckled, then whenever we arrived to our destination, coat on, rinse & repeat. (we do use the bulky coat when just playing outside)With this jacket, I can put him into a fleece sweater then this jacket over and it’s not bulky, thick, etc and it’s so much safer, I don’t have to worry about compression and the car seat harness not protecting him if we were to get into a car accident.My son just turned 4 days ago, and he’s a size 5-6 so I ordered an XS and it fits perfectly!

Perfect lightweight jacket for my toddler. Material is nice and can be wiped down if it gets dirty instead of a full wash. Comes with a little bag to stuff it into.

I am not at all pleased with these jackets. They are twice the price of a similar jacket I can get at Walmart. The ones at Walmart are $20. The Walmart jackets are durable and lasted a long time. These, however, are not durable. Right from the beginning, my son has been having constant issues with his zipper. It doesn’t zip properly and constantly gets stuck. The material isn’t as soft or forgiving. The sizing is slightly off. I figured I would get a bit of a larger size and it just barely fits so it won’t last as long as I was hoping. I would have purchase another set at Walmart but they didn’t get their spring stock this year. As soon as they come in, I will be saving myself the money and purchasing the $20 jackets from Walmart. These certainly are not worth the price you pay. Disappointed.

This is an excellent coat, snuggly, lightweight and comes with a pouch like a pac-a-mac. Downside is that it doesnât fit in the little pouch without 10 minutes of faff as the pouch is far too small. Also received age 13-14 when I ordered age 10-11 so check the sizes.
