The idea that sparked the creation of Lunch Notes From Me! was my daughter Shayna. I wanted to make sure she knew I was thinking about her even when she was at school. So, I created little daily notes that would go into her school lunchbox that would teach her something and make her laugh, too! After a while, Shayna and her friends began looking forward to these little notes each day. Some days, they wouldn’t even wait until lunchtime to find out what the note of the day was. I then teamed up with another mom, graphics designer Hadas Propper, and together we created a complete line of tear-off lunch box notes filled with unique facts, jokes, riddles, inspirational messages and fun questions. We are sure you and your kids will have as much fun as we do!

Fun notes for school lunches
My son likes getting these notes in his lunch box. Theyâre easy to just tear off and put in his lunch everyday. The font in my opinion is difficult for young children learning to read. Would prefer a less frilly font choice but overall a good product!

Mornings in our home are crazy. I throw one of these little notes into my daughters lunch box and write a little something on the back. Itâs a great way to connect with your kids and give them some reading material/jokes and facts to share with her friends at lunch. Just do it. Small effort to be a better parent by staying in tune with the kiddo.

Cute but the presentation isn’t what I expected
The idea behind these is cute and seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. But the actual cards were a bit disappointing.They have a big Lunch Notes From Me banner splayed across the card, which is ok, but it definitely detracts from the actual facts/jokes. I don’t use these for lunch notes, I leave them around for my kid during Christmas season, so a big Lunch Notes from Me(â¢) across them all makes it a bit weird.I also was not expecting them to be on light text-weight paper. I was hoping they’d be actual cards. When I leave these around, I add a personal note on the back, so I like something that seems like an actual card or postcard weight. But these feel more like something you peeled off a notepad. They just don’t have the same magic.Ultimately they are cute and I’ll probably use them for something, but I’ll find something else for my Christmas notes.
