Every husband should read this to understand your wife better
im not a mother but my wife and I are having our first child soon so I picked up this book because I wanted to know what she would be going through and how I can really help instead of having something generic like “let me know if you need anything.” This set of books explained the experience better than I have gotten from any of the baby books that are specifically for fathers. It doesn’t speak to you but it demonstrates to you what it is like to be a new mom. What pleasantly surprised me was the level of emotional burden carried by new moms that frequently remains unspoken. The first book describes the pressure, the guilt and the relentless secondguessing in a manner that left me speechless. I found myself underlining sections about how even small selfcare routines can make a huge difference and how partners can either support or unintentionally add to the stress. I’m now more aware of what to look out for and how to show up in the right ways. The second book hit even deeper. Its about reconnecting emotionally when the relationship starts feeling distant. The letters and reflections were raw and honest. I realized how simple it is for couples to become distant in postpartum and how difficult it is to remain close. I havent gotten there yet but thanks to this book as I feel far more equipped to serve my wife and defend our marriage. It’s something that I think all husbands need to read whether they are or are not expecting or just want to be a good husband.

Encouraging read for moms juggling it all
I didn’t have this book when I first became a mom—and honestly, I wish I had. But even now, years later, with kids, a job, house stuff, and a million errands, I still feel overwhelmed. So I picked it up, especially since it included a section on reconnecting with your partner, which I thought would be a nice bonus. The first book (Compassionate Self-Care for New Moms) felt more like a motivational read than a hands-on guide, but I still liked it. The short exercises to reflect, celebrate small wins, and just give yourself a little grace were simple but meaningful. The second book (The Quiet Between Us) honestly felt more like the author’s personal journal—like she was writing to her own partner. I could relate to a lot of it, but it wasn’t as actionable. More about understanding your emotions and slowly figuring out how to express them. It’s not perfect, but it has value—especially if you’re feeling drained and just want something that reminds you you’re not alone in this.

    Buen libro

Helpful, Honest, and Compassion for New Moms
As a soon-to-be grandmother, I picked up this book to better understand what my daughter-in-law might experience in the weeks and months after the baby arrives. I’m so glad I did. This series is full of honesty, empathy, and practical wisdom. It gave me insight into the emotional weight new moms carry—things I wish I had understood better when I was in that season myself. It’s not just about baby care; it’s about caring for the woman becoming a mother. I’ll be keeping this on hand to offer encouragement, not just advice.

This speaks to the part of you that feels forgotten
I didn’t expect to cry while reading this, but I did more than once. It felt like someone finally saw me, not just as a mom, but as a whole person who’s been stretched thin and craving connection. The gentle reminders and simple steps actually fit into my day, and the second book? It helped me open up to my partner in a way I didn’t know I needed. If you’ve been feeling lost or alone in the noise of new motherhood, this will help you find your way back.

A Wonderful Gift for New Mothers
The Empowered New Mom Self Care Series is a much needed resource for new mothers navigating the life changing journey of motherhood. The first part of the book offers practical tips and heartfelt encouragement to help new moms adjust, embrace the changes, and prioritize self-care; reminding us that caring for ourselves is essential in being able to care for our little ones. The second part of the book is especially touching. It’s filled with letters a new mom might wish to write to her partner, honest, vulnerable, and full of emotion. Sometimes, it’s easier to write our feelings than to say them out loud, and this section gives voice to the thoughts many new moms carry in their hearts.

    Exactly What I Needed Postpartum
As a new mom, I’ve been overwhelmed trying to balance everything while still taking care of myself. This book made me feel seen and gave me practical ways to start feeling more like myself again. I liked that it didn’t pressure me to do it all, just offered real support and small steps I could actually manage. It reminded me that taking care of myself isn’t selfish. If you’re a new mom feeling stretched thin, this is definitely worth reading.

    Good Reference for New Moms
This 2 in 1 book provides simple but powerful tools to care for myself without guilt, with easy 10 minute routines. The second book helped me find words for what I couldn’t express to my partner, about my love for him eventhough I’m feeling exhausted and disconnected. The letters and communication tools gave us space to talk honestly and strengthen our bond. This is a good compilation to help new mothers.

I’m not a mom, but I picked this up to help support a friend. She told me it was easy to read and full of useful ideas for taking care of herself after the baby. I noticed it also talks about how dads and partners can help, which made me feel more included. Recommended for anyone close to a new mom.

The two-book approach works well, covering both personal self-care and relationship challenges that come with having a baby. The relationship book especially helped me communicate better with my partner about the mental load and exhaustion. Writing feels genuine, like talking to a friend who gets it, rather than receiving preachy expert advice. Practical tools that acknowledge how hard this phase is while offering hope that things can improve.

Lovely book. Such valuable and heartwarming. This book is a great option for fresh moms, struggling with mental and physical problems after giving birth. I could recommend this book for new mom but also partners who care for their women. I think such books may be really helpful and the fact that this book is really informative makes it just wonderful.

This Series is exactly what every new mom needs but rarely knows how to ask for. These books are honest, thoughtful, and deeply validating—offering real tools to help navigate the emotional, physical, and relational shifts that come with motherhood. From practical self-care tips to powerful insights on rebuilding connection with your partner, the guidance here feels both doable and empowering. It doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff, but it also offers so much hope. A beautiful and compassionate resource for new moms looking to feel seen, supported, and more like themselves again.

This book felt like a warm, honest conversation. It helped me feel seen in the chaos of new motherhood. One phrase changed everything for me: When you choose yourself first, you simultaneously prioritize others. I come back to that line often. Simple, comforting, and so needed.
