Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, and like there is no time for you?
As a busy mom, it can feel nearly impossible to find time to work on your goals. Between the piles of laundry, dishes in the sink, taking care of your home and the day to day demands, your to-do list can feel never ending. You feel like you barely have time to make dinner, so how are you going to find time for your goals?
This innovative book takes the approach of priority-based productivity to help busy moms learn how to create time for their goals without adding a million things to their already full to-do lists. Instead of relying on motivation, you’ll learn how to create a priority-based path that makes sense for you and your life.
I know what it feels like to have these big dreams and goals but to feel like you’ll never achieve them. You may feel stuck in motherhood and like you’re losing yourself. You desperately want to work on your goals but you feel guilty about taking any time for yourself. And even if you push past those feelings of mom guilt, your ever growing to-do list and kids’ needs seem to always jump in front of even just a few minutes for you.
Other productivity books out there will teach you to hustle. They’ll tell you that the only way to be successful is to get up at 5 a.m. or burn the midnight oil. That approach may work for some—but not for us moms.
We need a different approach. The 15 Minute Formula is that approach.
In just 15 minutes a day, you’ll learn about the five pillars of priority-based productivity:
VisionTime ManagementGoalsHabitsRoutines

You’ll learn how to slow things down so you can actually get more done of what matters. You’ll learn a proven method for breaking down your big dreams and goals so that instead of feeling overwhelmed, you’re excited and ready to tackle the day.

Productivity for moms!
I’ve read multiple books on habits, productivity, and living intentionally, and this is one of my favorites because Cara totally gets mom life with all of its pressures and demands. (E.g. Hal Elrod, I’d love to do your Miracle Morning routine, but with kids keeping me up all hours of the night, it just isn’t practical or healthy for me to get up at 5am after 3 hours of broken sleep.) Cara understands this and gives moms a simple yet powerful game plan to live intentionally, figure out and focus on what really matters, and achieve big results, all without neglecting your kids or feeling like they are what’s blocking you from your dreams. I also love that this book is written in simple enough terms and with short enough chapters that even this tired mom brain can comprehend it without having to re-read each passage three times. (Looking at you, The Power of Habit.) This is one of those books that I’ll be referring back to time and again as I seek to get my life in order and live with passion and purpose!

Don’t let the subtitile fool you
Yes, the subtitle mentions busy moms, but don’t let that fool you! This book is for anyone who wants to work on goals, plans, and get themselves organized to do so or just learn that they may actually have goals or plans they didn’t know before.I was a student of Cara’s 15 Minute Formula course and I was so excited when she said she was going to be revamping the course. And then she decided not to and I was disappointed until I found out it was because she was going to be writing a book about it instead! This book is great! It helps you visualized goals, make plans to work on those goals, and helps you realize You Can Do It! Cara not only takes you step by step through the process, she makes it feel as though she’s sitting at the kitchen table talking you through it, not just reading a book about it.Read this book! Even if it’s for only 15 minutes at a time, you can do anything for 15 minutes!

Relatable and Honest
I have been following Cara for a few years now, and have always found her very relatable and honest with her struggles. Despite knowing her story, when I sat down with her book, that first chapter took me straight back to the first few months after having had my first child – she is very raw and real, and her struggles mirrored my own.I love her realness – she knows life does not go to plan, and she works around that, encouraging you to have a back-up plan for the days “the s*** hits the fan”. Even after days / weeks like this, you can still come out feeling like you have moved the needle forward, albeit slightly, if you follow her strategies.I love that her book is for Mum’s – written by a Mum who understands. It’s different, and it’s gold… I highly recommend for those who are struggling to have time for themselves, and just for Mum’s in general; if you have dreams, read Cara’s book, implement her strategies, and watch things change.

Busy moms need the 15 Minute Formula!
Cara Harvey has written what Iâm sure will become the go to book for busy moms!As an avid fan of Caraâs podcast, the Purpose Driven Mom, I was thrilled when Cara announced that she was writing a book! Caraâs love and passion for helping busy moms develop routines and systems that help with daily life shines in every word! She breaks down her 15 Minute Formula into manageable chunks and provides real life examples of how it works! This book gives permission to be imperfect and a work in progress! It gives us a guide to managing our homes, lives, careers and all while making you feel like youâre seen and heard! Since finding Cara and her podcast, Iâve discovered how even 15 minutes spent on a goal can add up to big wins! The way she writes is exactly how she speaks, as a friend and someone who understands! I cannot wait to share this book with all of my friends and watch how it changes their life!

Don’t let summer slip away again! This is a MUST-READ for the beginning of summer! Nonfiction isn’t usually my thing, BUT this book is a huge help for not letting summer slip by!Every year, I have BIG goals for Summer Break. I’m going to do all the things. But, then all of a sudden, August is here and I’m pouring my morning coffee thinking, “Where did it all go,” knowing I didn’t accomplish half of my goals.The15MinuteFormula has been a really big help to shift my mindset around about goals. Not only is it good in theory, but it comes with a free workbook. At the end of each chapter, it has a couple of action items, so you can start feeling like you’re actually getting yourself together INSTANTLY.

This book is very easy to read, even if English is not your first language. It’s as if Cara is talking to you directly and explaining how we all can actually make time for ourselves and our goals. Not only does she help you make a plan for the next year, season, month or week, she also helps you be proactive for those days ‘when the poop hits the fan’ (and we all know those days will come eventually)!I love the way Cara teaches her framework. She knows life, she’s been in the same situations, and she helps you get back up when it’s not going as you planned. No more giving up and starting again on Monday, but giving yourself grace and keep going as best as you can!

I’ve been following Cara Harvey for a while now. She’s a productivity coach for moms and helps you ditch the overwhelm.I have stumbled upon her through a goal setting challenge two years ago, subscribed to her APDM Club and have had a year like never before (well at least not since I’ve had my kids). I have also met some wonderful people.Long story short, Cara has written this book to help mom’s like us get things done even with very little time. It is an easy read, I feel like she is talking to me while I read her words but she has not neglected the Action Steps one can take after each chapter. These are small tasks that help you implement her philosophy into your daily life and routines.First the book helps you craft your vision and yearly goals (or 12 week yearly), you’ll also learn about time blocks to be more productive. After this you’ll be able to work on your routines and habit stacks. Don’t know what a habit stack is? You’ll be so happy to hear about it and implement this technique into your life.I love Cara, her Club, podcast, Facebook community and also her book! I can wholeheartedly recommend it!Why only 4 stars instead of 5? This might not seem logical… Well it is her first book and I admire Cara for it. However, I am sure her next books will even be better!

OMG, Amazing, Must Read…While reading this introduction I felt I was reading about my own life just before my breakdown. I had all the same feelings as Cara, I was suffering from postpartum depression that went undiagnosed for nearly 2 years. I was sitting there sobbing with my baby while everything was continuing on around me and like Cara said, “I had tied my worth to accomplishing my day-to-day tasks.”If only the 15-minute formula was around when I needed it back then. I am so glad to have found it now though.Reading this book is like having Cara sit next to you as she’s telling you her special tips and tricks. The first 3 chapters I’d filled up 1/2 a notebook and wanted to read straight on through, but I took a break and started doing the steps Cara suggests at the end of each chapter. Game changer!Cara’s tips are easy to achieve, they make sense and I can see that I’m not going to become overwhelmed. If you are a mum/mom, entrepreneur, or just an employee, this book will help you, all those jobs you do can come together for you.

I’m a mom of 9 kids and have been a member of Cara Harvey’s Purpose Driven Mom Club for awhile. Her teaching is excellent. So many goal-systems are designed for executives or people who seem to have no other responsibilities than working on their goals. Not so with this book! The 15-Minute Formula is designed for MOMS – moms who have interruptions, who are sometimes sleep-deprived and who have divided attention. They don’t have 4 hour chunks of uninterrupted time, but they still long to see progress on the purpose and calling they feel deep inside them. The 15-Minute Formula clearly and simply walks each reader through a do-able system of crafting personalized dream-level goals, and then customizing systems and routines to bring these dreams right down to within reach. If you are like me and feel like you sometimes lack discipline to carry through with your plans…not to worry! Cara’s habit stacking methodology will have you successfully doing new lasting routines that support your goals almost without realizing you are doing them!I highly recommend this book to any busy mom who wants to feel her best without buying into the wearying hustle culture.
