Let me start by saying this ball is so waterproof, Iâm pretty sure it could survive a monsoon in a teacup. My old âregularâ football used to get soggy and sad after 5 minutes in the pool, like a disappointed parent watching me attempt a spiral. But the SwimWays Hydro? This thingâs buoyancy rivals my uncleâs inflatable pool swan.We took it to a family BBQ, and let me tell you, nothing brings out your competitive side like your 8-year-old niece screaming, âTHROW IT, CHAMP!â only to watch you faceplant mid-catch. The ball, however, soared like a majestic, blue, slightly deflated eagle. Itâs lightweight enough for kids to chuck but durable enough to survive Uncle Daveâs âI-still-got-itâ overhand fastballs (spoiler: he doesnât).Bonus: When my cousin âaccidentallyâ beaned me in the face, it didnât hurtâjust left a splash mark that made me look like Iâd cried during Frozen 2. Cue a splash war that ended with three adults in timeout and a dog stealing the hot dogs.Five starsâwould play again, but maybe invest in goggles.

Perfect Pool Toy
This pool football is very well made. Our adult children and grandchildren love to get a wild game of toss going in the pool. We do have two large grand dogs and Iâm not 100% sure it would survive their bite so we keep it put up when they are visiting. I would definitely purchase again.

Laces fall apart after a while.
I would give it a 5 star rating if it wasnât for the laces always falling apart. Otherwise kids love it. Iâve had to replace 2xâs.

We really enjoy playing with this football by / in the pool. The grip stitching is similar to that on a normal football, which helps with launching it when it is wet. It dries pretty well, we usually keep it hanging in the pool house to let it dry between use. It’s a great toy and a welcome addition if you are looking for pool activities.
