Awesome Experience
Amazing purchase. This helped my toddler sleep through his first overnight flight and this helped tremendously! It was easy to setup and he enjoyed looking at the different dinosaurs. Highly recommend this for flights, especially long ones overnight.

Cute Design, Soft Material, But Narrow and Strong Rubber Smell
The Snoozy Toddler Airplane Seat Extender in the Unicorn Pink pattern is undeniably cute! The design is adorable, and the material feels soft and well-made. I also really appreciated the included carry bag, which was easy to clip onto our travel bag and conveniently stored in the bottom of the stroller. However, the functionality wasn’t quite what I expected based on the product photos. It’s noticeably narrower than it appears, and on the airplane seat (we were on a flight that felt like it had smaller, tighter seating a Spirit flight), it acted more like a hammock. It didn’t lay as flat as the picture showing a child sitting comfortably with legs straight out. I imagine it might flatten out more on a significantly wider seat spread, but for our experience, it was more like a hammock because the seats were too close together. The biggest downside, though, was the overwhelming smell of rubber. Even after leaving it out to air for a few days, the strong odor persisted. I think it will likely need a good week or so outside of the bag and in open air, or at least in a very well-ventilated space, to fully dissipate. While the cute design, soft material, and convenient carry bag are definite pluses, the narrowness and the strong rubber smell are significant drawbacks to consider. If you anticipate flying on airlines with smaller seats, be aware that it might function more like a hammock. And definitely plan for ample airing-out time before your trip to address the smell.

Not approved for use on United flight
Not very clear that its not approved for plane usage. I was excited to use this but as soon as I set this up on the seat on a United flight, the flight attendant told me to take it down and that it wasn’t approved for use on the flight. So in my eyes I wasted money. I should have done my due diligence and dug deeper and seen that maybe this wasn’t approved for the airlines I flew. I donât know if its approved to use on any airline actually. Maybe so. Nonetheless a clear disclaimer would gave helped.

Sturdy!
It does what it should do!But I realized that it needs to use the back side of your seat, meaning that you have to ask someone in your back if itâs ok to use it (the strap needs to go around your back seat). So if have the back-most seat or the back person is not cooperative or mean lol, then you just canât use it.Durability is great, my chubby 7 months comfortably sits in there!

Easy to install.
My wife n a 21 month baby were flying out of country. Very long flight. First it was hard to sleep in that for my baby. But later on she slept for 8/9 hours. Great product .

Well made but not sure we like it…
This item is well made and, in theory, would make a great travel hack. I will say the materials have a strong neoprene smell but that may subside with a turn in the washing machine. Now when it comes to actually using it… I’m not sure I’m a fan. First, it takes up a lot of space in a backpack. I strive for packing light so this does not help me reach that goal. Using the hammock was good but I don’t feel like it was life changing. My nearly 4 year old grandson rarely sleeps when we travel but it did offer his legs a little support. I will preface my next comments with “I’m not sure if it’s user error” but when we put the tray table down to set our cup of water down and my grandson moved, the strap came over the table and knocked down the water. My grandson got soaked which is a catastrophe. We may give it another go on the next flight but so far, I’m not convinced. Will update later if my thoughts change.
