For a busy toddler
My husband and I were pulling our hair to get our toddler to brush his teeth. We were worried about his oral hygiene, so on a whim I ordered these. My husband thought I was crazy but we were able to do a better job of getting his teeth clean. I am not sure how appropriate or effective it was but we felt it was better than what we were doing. I will post later after our first visit to the dentist. By the way…he now thankfully let’s us use a toothbrush to brush his teeth. I was happy with this product and have many left. I will find a place to donate then. I also taught special Ed. for a few years and used these for oral motor therapy.

My order from Amazon arrived today and I am very pleased with this product and the way they were packaged and delivered – earlier than anticipated. The handles on the swabs are nice and long, making them easier to reach all the way to the back of the mouth without my hands getting in the way. I also like that they are nicely flavored. The swabs are individually wrapped, which I like because it makes them more sanitary than others I have used.I highly recommend them and know that I will be ordering them again.Irish Lass

Can’t go wrong
I am a retired 35 yr veteran, Registered Nurse. We used these in the hospitals for patients, but they were not flavored. They worked superbly. Now, the mint gives the patients the feeling of freshly brushed teeth with the minty flavor. It helps for those patients who cannot eat or drink and those who have the jaws wired shut. It helps with the elderly who cannot brush their own teeth or are edentulous. They can use these themselves for autonomy.I sent these to a friend who had been hospitalized after a traumatic injury and hospitals no longer carry these because insurance companies are now refusing to reimburse the hospital.That shared, I keep some on hand at all times. My husband and I are Seniors. My husband recently had the flu and he used these when he was too sick to eat and although he could drink, his mouth breathing kept his mouth extremely dry. I simply dip these in water just to moisten, not soaked in water, and he used these as he needed throughout the days. Perfect to keep in the car to brush your teeth, the roof of your mouth, tongue, and teeth after eating on the run, as well as, camping trips, air flights, etc.

DenTips Mint Treated Oral Care Swabs
Our son sometimes has canker sores in his mouth and since he is only 1, it is really hard to brush his teeth so we found out that we can use this to gently brush his teeth without to much discomfort. Since it is a sponge, we are also able to dip it into Orajel antiseptic mouth rinse and dab the inside of his mouth to promote healing. This seems to work but like all things, please use your own judgement and consult your physician before treating your young children.

This product allows my bedridden mom a level of self-respect. I keep DenTips by her bed and she uses them to clean her teeth. We have been using them for a couple of years now. Prior to that I had to help her brush her teeth. Her last dental exam was great so they must do a good job of cleaning.

No mint at all dont waste your money
I have no idea what the maker thinks mint is but there is absolutely no mint in the box I was sent. Unfortunately the box in the add looks just like the box I received. I had mint swabs in the hospital and they taste nothing like that. It tastes like a nasty sponge. So disappointed,

They are as described and I use them for my elderly mother. The sponge can still feel a little abrasive so need to be used gently but they’re very effective and can used with mouthwash eg retardex which is alcohol free and tasteless.
