    Love it!
Bought this book for my sister in law who is studying to become a chef. We made several of the desserts for Christmas and they were delicious. The recipes are well explained and easy to follow.

    Awesome
Is a great book, more than I was expecting, just consider that if you are looking the exactly recipe of each tart completely this might be no what you are looking, this has the recipe for the though and also all the recipes for the 60 different things that can be inside the tart but you have to use your creativity to combine them, for example use one of the 60 recipes and add fresh strawberries to create the tart or mix 2 of the recipes shown and also the book shows you a couple of examples so I think is exactly what I was looking for

If you love making tarts – this cookbook is for you
If you love making tarts, cheesecakes and be creative on flavor combinations – then this cookbook is for you. This is a cookbook released by a Dutch pastry chef who started her business serving French pastries, mini tarts, and hold cooking classes to the general public upstairs. As the book implies, 1 pastry recipe and a compendium of 60 fillings – mostly sweet recipes. A small but concise book that is full of pictures, short and easy to follow recipes and instructions on how to make them. This book is for the budding baker and the advanced home bakers and pastry chefs who are eager to learn new recipes making mini-tarts. This will be part of my kitchen library, and I have tried the adapted key lime cream using Chef Jacquey Pfeiffer’s pate’ sucree’ recipe. I had also tried their lemon curd, and meringue recipes as well. Both of them tasted great. I am surprised that she included ganache, soft caramel, fruit caramel ganache. Her knowledge is priceless, and cannot wait to make the soft caramel fillings. These would be great for chocolatiers and pastry chefs who wanted to expand their knowledge, know-how and learn how to make mini-tarts from a variety of flavors. Great book!

    Incredibly informative
I absolutely love this book. There are numerous, easy to follow recipes along with drawn pictures of the layers of tarts. It has inspired me to create similar tarts just from the ideas presented in this book!

    A beautiful book
It is a beautiful, well-organized book with many recipes those come with beautiful picturesHowever, since it is a small book, letters are very small, for me. Some recipes come with color pages and full with decorations. That makes it even harder to read. I might return the book.

    Very helpful
The book has lots of flavors and styles with easy to follow instructions and simple ways to switch up a basic recipe. Can’t wait to make all of the options!

  8. Dendee

    Recipes are spot on
I have tried several of the filling recipes and they are spot on. I never tried the dough recipe though, since I am happy with the one I am using from YT.

I bought this book for my wife (the baker in our household) who proceeded to produce a series of holiday treasures from the recipes it contains — some were truly heavenly. If you like making little tarts etc, then this book is definitely a worthwhile addition to your kitchen library. And if you do buy one; don’t just let it sit on the shelf! Do yourself a favour and actually treat yourself to baking some of the confections listed within its pages!

Excellent book, what I like the most, is that it keeps it simple, without overly complicated recipes, it’s concise and functional. It teaches the basics and then how to combine recipes. It has a progression aswell, it starts easy and then there are more difficult recipes at the end. It has good quality pictures, and the printing is spot on, the size of the book is very useful as well, not overly big, easy to keep near by to follow the recipes. Overall, one of the best baking books I’ve purchased so far.
