Fun, Easy to Educational Toy
My grandkids love pulling the tin out and mixing and matching the shapes. It keeps them occupied and teaches shapes, colors, sizes and matching. Plus, it uses the imagination as they create shapes and designs with the pieces. It has good magnet strength and is colorful. Fun eye appeal for the Littles who come visit me. Great price, easy storage.

Kept my kiddo busy
These kept my 5 year old very busy on our 8 hour drive! They come in a cute traveling kit! We added magnets to the back and brought a metal baking tray so they wouldnât fall all over the place. Super fun!

Great for various ages!
Bought these for 3 visiting kids ages 7, 6 and 3 – they all loved them. Whether they choose to recreate the design on the enclosed cards, or just create freeform art, everyone seemed to enjoy them!

Great preschool set, but wish cards were sturdier, box was stronger, and more shapes included
I bought this set for my preschool class of 20 kids and quickly realized itâs better suited for smaller groups or one-on-one play. The biggest limitation is that thereâs only one of each wooden shape, so I couldnât divide the kids into smaller groups to work on their own cards at the same time. I really wish the company offered a companion set with just the extra shapesâthat way I could have split my class into small groups without the issue of multiple groups needing the same pieces for different cards. To adapt, I ended up using it during a whole group circle time. All the shapes were placed in the center, and each child took turns picking a shape needed for the card and placing it in the correct spot to complete the image. While this worked, it wasnât quite as engagingâsome of the kids had to wait a long time for their turn, and a few lost focus.I started with the cards unlaminated, but they got a little dirty quickly with little hands. So I decided to laminate them. I made a rookie mistake, thoughâI cut almost right up to the edge of the card, which removes the sealed plastic border that forms when you laminate. This caused the laminate to peel easily, especially once the kids started handling them independently during free play. One card had peeled (see photo of the bird card) – one of my students realized there was a peel and must have gotten curious! If youâre using these in a classroom or with younger kids, Iâd recommend double laminating the cards to make them sturdier. Even with single lamination, one of my students was able to bend a card (see photo of the happy face card). Just make sure to space the cards out generously in the pouch before laminating so that you donât accidentally cut too close and break the seal. (For reference, see the dog and turkey card photos where you can see the border Iâm talking about.)Also, the tin box got dented almost immediatelyâthough to be fair, this happened during after-care with my rowdy (or destructively enthusiastic) group of 2â5-year-olds. Still, the tin is pretty thin, and if it were a bit sturdier, it would hold up better in a classroom setting.Overall, this is a fantastic educational tool, but with a few improvementsâlike offering expansion packs of shapes, more durable (or pre-laminated) cards, and a sturdier storage boxâit could be even better for group/classroom use. Hopefully this helps other teachers or parents looking to make this work in a larger setting!

Good toy, nicely made. Watch out the small parts if you have a really small baby around.

Great buy
My 3 y/o loves this puzzle. Keeps her entertained and nurtures creativity. Both fun and challenging. Pieces are quality and note cards are easy to understand. My only complaint is the packaging. Wish it were one tin for storing all pieces instead of two.
