Perfect little tool kit
Itâs a perfect little set for me to have and keep my kids/husband from stealing my tools. It is a small kit and not made for major projects. I simply needed to have something for minor things around the house so this was perfect. I did pink to be able to call my kids/husband out if they try to âborrowâ my tools!

Variety of useful tools
Great box of tools. My daughter is on her own. Didnât have a screwdriver or measuring tape. She was excited to get it for Motherâs Day.

It makes me so happy to see most of the tools staying snapped into the case.
I ordered the 228 piece set. I noticed the 228 piece set covered a broad variety of the most basic of household tools like pliers, a tape measure, and screwdrivers but also had some not so basic tools like wire strippers, allen wrenches, and a hacksaw. One morning I needed to do some electrical work on one of my vehicles so I grabbed this kit and started using it. I thought I may have to go grab a lot of my other tools but this kit was able to provide me with the sockets I needed disconnect the battery, the allen wreches to take apart the wire junctions, the screwdrivers to remove electrical hardware, and wire strippers to cut insulation from wires. The only tool I ended up having go find that day was a drill, so this kit saved me a lot of time. There were two things about this kit that I really ended up liking. First, I liked that around 95% of the tools stay snapped into the case. If you’ve ever opened up a tool case and seen all of the tools scattered everywhere and then spent 20 minutes or more trying to figure out where they all go then you can see why this is so important.Secondly, I like that some of the tools have a rubber like coating on them that makes them feel good in my hand, and easy to grip.Pros:⢠Almost all tools stay snapped into box.⢠Rubber like coating on some tools.⢠Metric sockets.⢠Spark plug socket (16mm).⢠Black tipped screwdrivers.⢠Has many non-basic tools like precision screwdrivers, wire strippers, Allen wrenches, etc.CONS:⢠The ratchet internals feel a little sloppy.⢠The Allen wrenches holder is a little loose.I would rate the overall tool quality as a mid grade tool set. I haven’t had any major issues when using any of the tools, and they feel nice and work well. This will make a great kit for anyone that does basic to moderate home repairs and a great kit for anyone who does basic vehicle repairs.Just remember when using it for vehicle repairs that it doesn’t have SAE sockets. Since it’s somewhat lightweight it will also make a great toolkit to pack with luggage on road trips for basic emergency roadside repairs.

Blue for boys and pink for girls, like it. The kits are basically the same although the pink is slightly cheaper at the time of writing. There is a spare space under the scissor handles for another plastic bit-holder like the three provided. A similar set of hex bits including larger ones for flat-pack furniture and bicycles would be useful, Kwokker do a good one, the sizes provided are too small for such uses. And by my count it’s only 38 tools in the blue kit, which is the one I bought, for a girl incidentally, so the three bit-holders and the case are presumably the other four in the advertised 42 total. All of this being said however, it’s still the best basic tool-kit on the market and very well made.

Measuring tape was missing from the set (one of the main reasons I purchased the set). Unable to get replacement only a refund is offered but the refund is $5.10 less than what I paid for the set.If I return for a refund and reorder, I will essentially end up paying an extra $10.20 plus postage for the item.
