This works so well on long flights that don’t have the device holder in the back of the headrest. I was able to maneuver the position to hook on the top of a difficult seat, though I wish the grip opened a little more.

Protrudes out too much for me
My vision for this was to mount it on a cupboard door over my oven and keep a tablet there! that way, I can access my cookbooks and recipes easy-peasy and listen to music or study while I bake my things.The good news is, the clamp is more than up to the challenge: it was a struggle for me to open it up and it grips on like the throes of death. The mount can adjust too, turning around, tilting – it’s not super smooth about it and at first I thought it might be breaking (a lot of clicking sounds) but that’s really just how it moves. So it’s secure! great, because an insecure tablet over a pot of soup is not part of my vision.My problem is, it sticks out too far. Like it can clamp onto the top of the cupboard door but it can’t bend so that the tablet sits flush on it. I feel like this would be annoying on a plane too, where room is already cramped I don’t want something sticking out more than it has to.I also wish it had smoother actuation, though if that’s the price to pay for keeping its held item off my burners I accept that. I’ll keep working with it! and hopefully there’s a way to integrate it into my kitchen still, because it’s otherwise a nice solid holder.

Amazing iPad accessory!
I got this for travel but after seeing it this holder can be used anywhere! It has a wide opening to accommodate my iPad but can also be used for a phone! Definitely a travel must have!!!

Did not attach to the back of the airplane seat in any way that allowed viewing an iPad. Not strong enough to support iPad securely.

Great and compact, multipurpose phone & tablet mount and stand.
This can accommodate my Samsung Galaxy Tab with the case on, that measures 6.5″x9.75″ (16.6 x 24.8 cm). Both clamps are really strong, especially the bigger one that clamps onto the mounting surface. I’ve used this to mount my phone and tablet either vertically or horizontally. There are several combinations and ways to configure it depending on the situation and mounting surface â it is very versatile. I have used it simply as a phone stand laid freely on a table, but that only offers two angles (your phone’s weight could tip it back if slanted too much).I use this more often than my more conventional tripod when taking photos and videos of small products for reviews. It is much easier to setup, more stable when clamped onto my desk and cannot be knocked over when I accidentally hit it with my arms (or face!) when working very closely.This is a compact and lightweight mount but very durable and can take some abuse. It could fit in my pants pocket and my backpack’s water bottle compartment. I can attest to it’s quality and it’s a great deal for the price.

Awesome accessory for traveling with your iPad!
This “Airplane Tablet Holder Mount, Long Flight Essentials Travel Accessories for iPad, Foldable Tablet Stand for Plane Seat Back” is the perfect accessory for airplane travel with you tablet. You can easily attach it to the seat tray in the up or down position and it holds your tablet pretty firmly. I do wish it opened a bit larger to accommodate my 2-in-1 14″ computer in tablet mode, but it does do what it advertises.Recommended!

Purchased it to be used on my home work desk. Very sturdy and I love the flexibility of the tilting options. Use it every day. Only âneed for improvementâ is that it does not really accommodate any standard cover at all. Mine is really a thin, standard cover but did not fit so had to spend further money in a cover that detaches easily from the IPad. Room for improvement but still very happy with it.
