    Teachers gift
Got this for her preschool teacher on teacher appreciation day. She always gifts books to my daughter, so I thought that a book like this would be appreciated.

Tons of ideas for parents and care-givers; easy, simple and fun!
I really like this book! It’s filled with ideas to teach and have fun with toddlers and preschoolers. Simple games, projects and ideas for parents or care-givers. Indoor and outdoor activities for any time; even trips.

  3. Great deal

    Nice activity book
Great workbook to bring along when you go out to eat and have a restless toddler waiting for the food to arrive. There are plenty of activities and colors to keep them engaged. My only concern- some of the activities require cutting things out- that’s fine at home but not on the go.

  4. Alisa

    Useful
Cool book, very useful activities for kids. Our daughter is three years old, and she constantly says, “Mom, play with me, play with me,” and I just run out of ideas for what to do with her. From this book, we take very interesting tasks, and our daughter enjoys doing them.

Great ideas but needs more illustrations and color
I love the amount of ideas are in this book. However some of the projects could use some illustrations. I love had to Google them to get a better idea of what to do. Also some of the projects would really benefit from being in color or at least black and white so the kids can color it. It’s hard to color pictures that are grey. I do love that you can print extras of the projects if you need to. There is a splash of religious content fyi

    Perfect lesson plans!!!
I recently purchased this book for a college course I’m taking. All students purchased this book and another book. Let me tell you if you are new to Lesson planning and new to adding in a subject area or not know where to even begin.. This book will be for you.. It clearly explains in detail how each lesson activity will help children, what they will learn and how to approach the child when teaching each activity. There’s so much topics it goes with common core standards as well.. It also has a work sheet In the end of the book (Appendix) with the exact page to use an activity with. They have been a tremendous help. I believe any teacher working from Early Child Education to 3rd grade this will benefit you. I say third grade bc my son who is also Autistic enjoys the activities.. Again it breaks it down so clearly. I have been hearing that the majority of the class and from my other classes that I am taking, have been asking where we purchased our books. If you do get this book also check outrage Ultimate Kindergarten Prep Guide..

    Exactly what I needed!
This is an outstanding book and well worth every penny. The book is so organized and well planned out that it is easy to find exactly what you need. I even appreciated the details such as fonts and characters. You can tell the author wanted this to really be USED!As an elementary educator, I believe these are quality activities that will help keep my 2 year old stimulated and engaged. I love that a lot of them are low-prep and require basic school supplies. My goal was to find something to help me keep my toddler at pace during the summer while he is home with me. I didn’t want him to fall behind before returning to preschool in August. Also, if you don’t want to do the few Christian holiday activities…just don’t. No need to write a terrible review about it. That in no way shaped my opinion about this fantastic resource. 5 stars for sure. I can’t wait to add more to my Best Mom Ideas collection!

  9. Yvonne Horgan

I care for my two year old grandson one day a week, and this gives me loads of ideas to occupy and stretch his mind. It is American so includes activities for the likes of “Presidents’ Day” but there is a bit in it for Latin American festivals – I don’t feel it pushes Christian festivals particularly (ignore those pages if they are not your thing), but indeed it would be great for someone could add even more with some bits on the likes of Remembrance Day, Burns Night, Chinese New Year, Eid al-Fitr, Yom Kippur, Diwali and the many others that the British multicultural world embraces. I also emailed the author with a question or two and was pleased to get a personal response quickly.

Bought this for my son and daughter-in-law to use as a resource for ideas of things to do with their toddler. They love the book, lots of ideas suitable for about 2 years and up with supervision.

  11. Shanna

This book has a huge supply of activities! It also comes with printouts you can copy for colouring or cutting out. My only issue is that some of the activities require supplies I don’t typically have, but for the most part they all seem easy enough.

  12. Fernanda Pessoa

Very disappointing… The book describes activities, but there are no pictures. You have to imagine what it is talking about. The activities are not very useful for toddlers, most of them are for older children.

Update two years later: still using this book and loving it!This is so great! I’m sure many of these ideas are online, but it would take forever to find them all. It is super straightforward and helpful. (Also, the review about it being super religious, I’m not sure about that- there are just some holiday activities like Easter and Christmas, that’s as religious as it gets.)
