Compact and Makes Some Prep Work Easier

There are 6 plates that can be easily interchanged, as well as a handguard to help protect your fingers with certain plates. Our favorite is the mandolin, making thin slices so much easier. The ‘spiralizer’ didn’t work for us, and some of the vegetables don’t cut all the way or evenly with the dicing plates.One thing I liked was that everything can be stored in the container. This means it’s compact and takes up less room. It, also, means that little fingers (and big ones) are protected from loose plates and the blades just hanging around. It is very easy to use though there are instructions should you need them (not the best, but give you the basic information.) This just cuts the time of prep work and makes things easier.Cleaning is one of the biggest issues with this product. Some parts are very easy to clean, while others are much harder. You can put a lot of it in the dishwasher, however I find that some of the plates don’t clean as well that way – hand washing them is better. Just do it safely, because they are sharp.Price wise this is comparable to other similar items on the market. This particular product definitely is made from quality materials, and seems to be sturdy and durable. Only time and usage will tell though.I would recommend it, though.

A great slicer that keeps my hands safe!
I’ve always wanted a mandolin slicer, but the fear of destorying my fingers and hands has prevented me from ever getting one. This little guy is great though, and having the hand guard really helps me not have to worry about how much closer I can get before I reach my fingers.I also love that it it comes with interchangeable blade options, so I can slice, shred, and grate things when I use it like a mandolin, or press down on the grid to dice onions or make strips of carrots or potatoes.I love my knives, but sometimes I’m just too lazy to deal with them. The only thing that would make this better is if it was dishwasher safe, which it’s not. If it was, it’d definitely get 5 stars from me since washing these blades and the whole container can be a bit annoying and, dare I say, dicey. Aside from that, it’s a great tool for the kitchen and I look forward to using it more!

Dream machine
Throw away your old type mandoline and get this! This thing works. We do thin sliced potatoes for breakfast dishes and au gratin. These are thinner than you can do by hand. Love that when you slice, it all goes conveniently into the container. All grader blades lock in for extra safety and security. Rinses out easily.

Doesn’t chop all veggies equally
This nice veggie chopper comes with a variety of different attachments. I liked that it stays put on the counter and doesn’t slide all over the place. It’s fairly easy to clean and semi-easy to use. You will have to use some force to get thicker vegetables to chop. I was prepping for chili and was hoping to use this for onions and red peppers. On an onion, it worked well. I used small pieces at a time with the smallest block grate. When it came to using a pepper, it was more difficult to get it to cut through the holes. So I swapped out the attachment for the larger one. Still had issues and it just ended up getting stuck in the grate. I ended up just cutting the rest of the pepper by hand. Clean up was pretty easy, it came with an attachment to dig out any remnants stuck in the lid (which there were). Overall, didn’t work as great as I expected, but wasn’t a total dud.
