The End of Head-Bobbing Naps

We’ve all had to deal with our head flopping forward or bobbing side to side while trying to catch some zzz’s on a plane. AirSlyng stops that jarring wake-up when your head drops, so you’ll snooze longer and won’t wake up with sore muscles and a neck that’s stiff as a board.

The innovative blanket sling wraps around your upper body, keeping you from shifting and slumping while you sleep upright. And it’s made from a buttery soft fabric that will add a layer of welcoming warmth and homey comfort, perfect for when those airplane cabins get chilly.

The eye mask blocks out the light that keeps your brain alert during travel. This will help signal to your body it’s time to sleep, even when the cabin lights are on, or the sun is blasting through the windows. Plus, it attaches to the neck pillow, so you won’t have to worry about it sliding off.

    Yes!! Finally!!
I finally found what I needed! I cannot believe it! I was so hesitant because of the price but man it’s worth it!! My biggest problem sleeping on the plane is that I tend to tilt my neck BACK, so donut pillows do not help me. I’ve tried so many pillows and nothing worked. I also don’t know where to put my hands. This cocoon is perfect! Kept me warm and kept my hands in place. The head was fixed in the position and the headrest also acted a bit of a noise reduction. I HIGHLY recommend to give this a try! The only problem is that it becomes challenging if you want to sleep on the side because the mask can only be positioned facing forward, but it did not bother me too much. Best sleep I’ve gotten on a plane and walked away to my destination without neck pain for the first time in my life.

It’s like sleeping in the clouds!!!
Holy cow, after countless flights and endless attempts at finding the perfect travel accessory for sleep, I’ve finally discovered the answer – the AirSlyng (cool name). This incredibly innovative device is not just another travel pillow; it’s a game-changer for anyone looking to catch some quality sleep while 30,000’ in the air. Don’t get me wrong, you likely can’t control the person next to you or behind you, but wow this little tool is perfect for traveling.Whoever designed the AirSlyng is a genius! Somehow, he or she figured out a device which cannot only cradle both your neck and head but it almost makes you feel almost weightless. Not to mention the padded eye cover – that was an unexpected neat surprise. Also, the adjustable straps truly allow for a customized fit, which is huge as all of us have probably struggled with one-size-fits-all solutions in the past. I’m 6’ and my wife is 5’2” with high heels – there was no perfect product until we found the AirSlyng. On the first flight I used it, I noticed a significant improvement in my ability to fall and stay asleep. Well, until the person next to me wanted to use the restroom but I feel back asleep fairly easily.I can’t figure out the material they used to design this life changing product but it is both breathable and soft, which makes it nice for any length flight. Plus, it’s so light that I can attach it to my backpack, and I really don’t know it’s there. This means no more sacrificing precious luggage space for the sake of comfort. Of course, my wife will fill that extra space in the bag, but you get my drift.IMO, the AirSlyng is an essential accessory for any traveler – whether it is for business or for pleasure. I’m so glad I stumbled on the AirSlyng – a 5 out of 5 for sure!!

Sling part may not work well on all airlines, but pillow/sleep mask were a game changer!
I saw the AirSlyng before a recent trip to Iceland and decided to give it a try.The trip to Iceland was around a 7-8 hour long overnight flight, and I was the rental car driver so I needed a good sleep on the plane — something I rarely get on long flights. I was also sitting in the middle seat, which is already very uncomfortable! I was looking forward to trying the AirSlyng, and made a plan to try to get 4-5 hours of sleep. Unfortunately, the airplane was uncomfortably warm, which I knew going into the trip, so I wore appropriate clothing, but I was still so hot during this flight! The sling part was very uncomfortable to wear during this flight as it added another layer of warmth on an already warm flight. I also found it slightly restrictive. The Iceland Air seats were different than the ones I am used to (didn’t look like the product photos showing airline seats). The Iceland Air seats seemed to be taller, which may be why the sling part hit oddly on my body. There was also a weird fabric thing on the airplane’s seat pillow that was attached with Velcro. I had to remove it in order to put the AirSlyng on the seat headrest. When I tried to pull the sling down further on my body, it felt too restrictive — not sort of loose like I see in the product photos. But those people look slim. I’m a 5’7″ female who weighs around 188 lbs.The game changer for me is the eye mask and head pillow. The head pillow and mask wrapped around my head in a way that muffled sound. We had screaming babies both on the flight to and from Iceland. While I could still hear them, it was not as bad as if I had no ear protection. My head tends to flop when I sleep upright, and this head pillow and eye mask combo prevented that from happening. It was fantastic! On the flight back, I only used the head pillow and eye mask combo, and left the sling in my lap.I love that you can zip everything into the head pillow for easy storage, and then use the clip to attach to a backpack or other bag.Another reviewer mentioned the eye mask cannot be used alone, but I was able to use it alone. I have better fitting stand-alone sleep masks that I prefer better, but this eye mask worked as a stand alone on the plane when I didn’t feel like attaching the head pillow right away. The price is a bit steep for an airline travel pillow option for those who may not travel on long or overnight flights regularly, but it is totally worth it if you do travel frequently under these scenarios. I would not take this with me on my normal two hour flights, but will be sure to take it on any future long flights. One thing I realized after I got on the plane was that I should have brought my eye glasses case to store my glasses while wearing the sleep mask. I am new to wearing glasses so it did not cross my mind to bring the case.Overall this is a very innovative airplane sleeping option that takes up the same or less room than a travel neck pillow, but will leave your head and neck feeling better at the end of your trip.

Game Changer for Red-Eye Flights – I Actually Slept!
I never sleep on planes—ever. But I used AirSlyng for the first time last night on a red-eye, and I slept through everything. No neck cramps, no awkward head bobs, just solid, uninterrupted rest. I almost didn’t believe it when I woke up and realized we were landing. This thing is a genius idea. Super comfortable, easy to use, and totally worth it if you travel often. I’m never flying without it again.

This is the one you want!
Tested on a 14h overnight flight and it was all it promised. I have been looking for this kind of solution for decades (even making my own!) but this one actually works. Quality materials to boot.I recommend practicing with it in your car to get familiar with how it works and also how to get it packed back up into the carrying case. The one thing I wish it had was a small bag to keep the outside surface clean. It’s a minor point though.

    Too hot for me.
Very cozy, “clamped in” feeling. Which I’d be fine with, but the head wrap portion is very warm. My head began to overheat immediately. On the other hand, this head wrap DID block sound well. It was just too hot for me.

    Amazing product!
Be prepared to look ridiculous. And be prepared to be the most rested individual on the planet. I cannot speak more highly of this product in terms of achieving the desired result! Love love love!
