Great Motivational Card Set
This 60-card set of Hey Girl Sassy Affirmation Cards for Women is a truly valuable set! The cards are larger than the average motivational deck, and the paper stock is a nice quality. Cute deck of cards
Got these to encourage my daughter. Every day I change out the cards so that she gets a new reminder that she is strong and amazing and most of all, loved. She just started working, will begin college in a couple months, and her boyfriend is out of state, so I know that she can always use a little bit of uplifting and these are a nice, simple way for me to give her that without smothering her. The majority of the cards are really nice affirmations that aren’t at all cringe or over the top, but there are a handful that I’m not sure I will put in the mix because I know that if I roll my eyes at it, she will absolutely cringe, but hey, everyone’s got their own preferences.

Inappropriate language
This set is really beautifully made. The sentiments on the affirmations are good. Unfortunately there are several cards written with expletives that make them totally inappropriate for giving, especially to a younger girl/woman. The English language has many many descriptive words …. why must everything be reduced to a vulgar descriptor? I removed 20 cards from this pack that are inappropriate for sending to my granddaughters. Almost every one of them would have been just as good without the swear words.

I want to first start this review by saying I received this item for free but that this does not affect my review or opinion of the item.These affirmation cards are not your typical affirmation cards. Affirmation cards are typically kind, warming and serene. This particular deck is the deck you go to when you need to be pepped up to face reality. They are still caring and kind, but the vibe I get off them is confident and strong. These cards arenât going to give you a warm hug, these cards will pat you on the back and send you into the world, ready to take it on.On another note, the cards are very good quality. The cardstock used is strong. All the cards have shiny silver foil. A bonus for me is that they included a card stand.Overall I am happy with this product.

Best affirmation cards ever!
I collect affirmation cards as a hobby, so Iâve seen my fair share of different sets over the years. Out of all the sets Iâve bought, this hands-down is my favorite! Hereâs a more detailed explanation of the various things I love about these cards and the few drawbacks I found:1) Aesthetics – These cards came in a high-quality, beautifully designed purple box. The affirmation sides of the cards have various pastel-colored backgrounds (light purple, light blue, light yellow, light pink). The illustrations on the fronts of the cards are super creative and very pretty. The images are incredibly colorful and evoke positive emotions which is what you want affirmation cards to do. I also really love the fact that the art on each card directly corresponds to the affirmation on the back of that specific card. For example, one of the cards reads âRemember, youâre steering this ship. Your destiny is in your handsâ and has a beautiful image of a sailing ship on the other side of the card.2) Affirmations â I think the actual affirmations written on the cards are really awesome! I honestly wish Iâd been given something like this when I was younger. The important words written on these cards were things that I was never really told by any of the people around me. In my opinion, these cards are like a mix of affirmations thatâll help boost your self-confidence and some well-written really sound advice. The box describes the affirmations as empowering and sassy, and I feel like thatâs a pretty good description. I included some of my favorite affirmations from this set below to give you an idea of how theyâre written:- âItâs okay to say no without explaining yourself. You deserve respect.â- âRemember, self-love is not selfish, itâs self-empowerment.â- âItâs okay to ask for help. Vulnerability is power.â3) Legibility â As I said earlier, I collect affirmation cards and the ones in this set are a lot bigger than most Iâve previously bought. However, I actually really like how large these cards are. For me, the bigger size makes them easier to hold and read. The actual affirmations are printed in shiny silver lettering that gives the words a cool almost holographic effect. However, this definitely makes the cards harder to read in my opinion. I probably wouldâve preferred it if they had just used simple black ink on the pastel backgrounds or white ink on darker backgrounds so it would be a little easier to read. I do really like that they included the wooden stand in this set. The stand makes it easy to choose a card and display it on any piece of furniture. This is super useful because repetition is important with affirmations so being able to leave the card out somewhere you can easily read it is a big plus.Warning – There are a decent amount of curse words (multiple uses of the F-word) spread throughout these affirmations so these might not be great for younger girls. The box recommends these cards for ages 16+ and I probably wouldnât go any younger than that. For reference, Iâm a female in my mid-20s and I feel like these affirmations still really resonate with me.
